When the Hours Move to Minutes

I don’t need to be proposed to in some cliche way.

I don’t even need you to have already bought the ring. All I need is for you to look into my eyes and know that you will feel the way you feel in that moment for the rest of our lives. I don’t care where we are or what we’re doing. It doesn’t matter what you’re wearing or whether or not I have make up on or if you ask me to marry you while I’m shoveling down mashed potatoes. Actually scratch that last part, I might choke. The point is, you don’t need to spend all this money and sweat over the perfect way to ask me to marry you. The question itself is a big enough gesture for me.
